Ajonjoli -- Sesame Milk


Ingredients (use vegan versions):
  • 1 cup raw sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 3 cups water
Directions:

Blend together, strain, and enjoy.

To add a little coffee flavour, roast the seeds in a skillet until they just begin to pop.

The original

recipe called for honey, but I think corn syrup would do as a substitution. The amount can be moved up or down according to taste.
