Boiled Rice


Ingredients (use vegan versions):
  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 2 cups water
Directions:

Wash and drain the rice. Cook in boiling water for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

Reduce the heat to simmering,

cover the pan and cook for 20 minutes or until all the water has been absorbed and the grains are quite separate
