Absolutely Simple Chili with Beans


Ingredients (use vegan versions):
  • 1 package (about 1 lb) veggie ground round (I use Yves)
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 4 cans of beans (I use a variety: Northern, Kidney, Pinto.)
  • 2 cloves garlic- minced
  • chili powder to taste
Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. You can adjust the amounts of anything to your taste. I like my chili thicker so I only use 2 cans of tomato sauce.

2. Slow cook for at least 4 hours for best results.

3. This can be served as is; with toppings; over pasta... you get the point.

4. Add or change an ingredient... this is just my simple starter chili.

Serves: 6-8

Preparation time: 15 minutes
