Heavenly Smoothie


Ingredients (use vegan versions):
  • 5 plump red strawberries (frozen gives it an icy zest, can use fresh)
  • 5 juicy peach slices (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 cup or so of lovely apple juice or apple cider
  • 1 big yellow yummy banana-peeling removed
  • And a heeping handfull of grocery

Combine the lush ingredients into a blender. Mash down with hands (that's the super fun part). Be sure that you add a liberal amount of apple liquid, but not too much! Put blender on puree and higher if needed.

I drink this smoothie after a rough day or as a summertime treat. It sounds too simple to be so good, but believe me it will knock you off your feet. You will be floating on a cloud after indulging in this.

Nutrition- It is even more nutritious if you add a spoonfull of wheatgerm.

Serves: 3-4

Preparation time: 5 min. maximum
