Green Beans a la Brooke


Ingredients (use vegan versions):
  • 1 lb. fresh green beans (use about a half a big package of frozen, I like french cut)
  • 1-2tablespoon fresh grated ginger
  • 2-3 cloves of crushed garlic
  • 1-2tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon vegetable oil
Directions:

Heat oil

in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger and brown (don't burn!). Add beans (frozen beans cook much faster). stir fry for a while if you like beans a little brown. add a little water and cover beans for about five minutes. add soy sauce and cover again for about five minutes. cook till done. My whole family loves these. They are for green bean lovers.
